I...hard to believe it's all on the same planet! I suppose you just get used to living a certain way, not knowing how much better it could be... can you imagine washing all your clothes by hand? I remember line drying but never hand washing...not loads of clothes (unides? Yes, mom made sure we never relied on a washing machine to provide clean undies, LOL!)OMG...how her hands must hurt at the end of the day! I feel so blessed to have my ten year old washing machine right now. Thanks for sharing this. Sometimes we forget how blessed we are, a gentle reminder is always welcome.
