Have you ever really wanted to do something but immediately felt like you were in over your head? Well, that's where I find myself today.
It was only last November that I discovered the world of quilting blogs. I was hooked immediately. So, after six months of reading and with much trepidation, I launch myself into blogging.
The picture above is a table runner I recently finished. It is machine-pieced(except for the hand applique) and hand quilted from a kit I purchased from Connecting Threads. I have decided that this is the year of the UFO for me. You see, we moved from Illinois to Ohio this past July. I worked full-time while in Illinois and didn't get much quilting done. But as you know, that doesn't stop the urge to buy fabric, patterns, kits, etc. And, as you quilters also know, that goal has not stopped me from taking on new projects also. I will be sharing those projects in days to come. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will continue on with me for days to come.

Welcome to blogland - be warned - it is VERY addictive. I've only been going a few weeks too but am thoroughly enjoying it. If you join the Mystery webring you'll get read more often. One tip I was given - the more you comment on other people's blogs the more they will come and visit you.
By the way - I do like your table runner.
great begining on your new blog! welcome to fold! (evil b movie laugh). I look forward to reading it now and agin. (mauh) Liz
We will look forward to your quilting progress. It has taken me some time to get used to but it is a great way to chronicle my success and frustrations with my projects etc.
Hello from KY! Seems like I get more blogging done than I do quilting! I LOVE your table runner! I have like a million UFO's! I will probably never get them all finished, but I still love to quilt.

Hi,
I just started blogging also, and I think that I will enjoy it. Not only is it a place to write some of your thoughts, but it gives you a place to share your pictures with people who are interested. I love your table runner. I just got my connecting threads catalog today, and they sure have some neat things. I could spend a lot of money there (if I had it).
Congratulations on getting started.

Welcome! Have fun blogging! :-)
Hi!
I just started blogging a couple of weeks ago. I've been a visitor for a long time now though and have gotten lots of inspiration from blogs. I thought it would help me get through my projects and ufo's if I could post them and so far so good.
Hi! I guess it's ok for me to say welcome to blogland...I'm a blog reader, but not yet a blog writer. I'm afraid I spend entirely too much time reading, but I really do enjoy the new friends I have made. I hope you enjoy blogging. I'm looking forward to reading your posts.
Welcome! As others have said, blogging can be very addictive but also great way to keep motivated and creative. Your table runner is beautiful. The colors are so bright and happy. I look forward to seeing more of your work.
Welcome to Blogland! Some of the nicest people are here! Glad you've joined us. Your table runner is beautiful.

Welcome aboard! I am only a couples weeks old as a blogger and loving it! I love your quilt that is on your blog. The pastel colors are wonderful! I usually lean toward the darker colors but have been stepping out of that box. Hope to see more of your posts. :c)
Hey Cutie, great site!
